haaa! finally, i found time to upload something. ^,^phew!
i drew this with a coalpen because i saw a documentary on the french- german program 'arte'. it was about an artist whose name is ernest pignon- ernest or something like that. i love how he creates very smooth and nonetheless perfectly realistic drawings. i think he also used something like very soft coal... dunno. what i know is that it was quite impressive!! very cool. well, i'm not yet that good at drawing this realistic. but i try! ^0^y ... with using a reference, of course. i found it in a kind of catalogue.
by the way, it's still in progress! i intend to finish the background and to straighten up the bag and her trousers a bit... ha! ^-^
i hope you like it and i would be very pleased if you gave me some advice how to finish it best. :3
luv, lüv
hey lüv ^,^
i think the "coal girl" is pretty good. Wäre mal was anderes ... Vllt hast du ja auch mal Lust auf so etwas
Liebe Grüße, <3 Bikoo
oh my i love this! usually i comment on your work with my other account but this caught my eye when i was thanking you <3
as far as finishing it...i think it looks very finished/complete. there is something really great about the bag being just linework. it draws your eye more toward the girl. i'd maybe compliment it all with some linework in the back like the bag...simple stuff...nothing too complex or toned. i'd make the girl the most complete thing...does this make sense? it's really beautiful. you bring life to this style <3
Eine wirklich tolle Zeichnung! Die Pose ist wunderbar geraten und auch der zarte Umgang mit der Kreide sind toll... ich werde Ernest Pignon wohl mal googeln müssen ^^

Don't think this is just another news article with the usual love deviations that have already hundreds of favorites! All of these deviations don't have even 100 favorites & they're the best!
Please watch them closely and show your appreciation! @
In this article I will provide you some ideas how you can build your own homestudio for considerably cheaper price than it would cost to use "official" studio gear. I will also show you few examples where I have used the gear I describe during this article.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

All art is quite useless.
